Hotel Access Applications for Malaysia Properties

Start with the doors and people using them. Guest rooms, shared amenities and service areas need different access schedules, credentials and failure plans.

Separate new-build and retrofit checks

  1. List the door type, dimensions, handing and existing cut-outs.
  2. Ask for the fitting drawing for the ordered lock and mortise.
  3. Fit a sample before approving room-by-room replacement.
  4. Agree how rooms remain available during installation and handover.

Check exposed routes and separate buildings

A resort, serviced apartment and city hotel can have different exposure and travel routes. Identify the actual indoor and outdoor doors; request model-specific environmental evidence for the proposed installation.

Use the same schedule for every supplier

  • Door and access-point quantities, with drawings where available.
  • Guest and staff credential requirements.
  • Software, integration and offline-operation requirements.
  • Installation, support and acceptance tests.
